Dr. Jacqueline Kory-Westlund

Dr. Jacqueline Kory-Westlund is an independent scholar, writer, and artist. She earned her PhD from the MIT Media Lab in 2019, where her research focused on how we can use social robots to support young children’s language learning, including how children understand social robots, how their relationships connect to their learning, and the ethics of using robots in children’s lives. She holds a BA from Vassar College and has worked for NASA developing autonomous vehicles and laser space robots.
