Round table “Food Design, packaging and sustainability”

Round table to discuss sustainable design in the food sector. Context and solutions in the HORECA sector.

It will talk about the current context, the main challenges of the new regulations for waste management and disposable plastics, as well as the context of delivery and COVID and food waste and will be linked to food, product and service design as key tools for the optimization of the use of resources and environmental improvement in the food sector.

During the session, solutions within the design framework will also be discussed by asking for audience interaction with quizzes and questions.

The round table will be moderated by Sofía Garín (inèdit) and experts in design (inèdit) and communication (representatives of the CreativesForTheFuture association), gourmet experts in waste, Foodservice companies with ongoing actions to adapt, experts on promotion will participate of the reuse of packaging (Oriol Segarra de Bumerang) and experts from the sector with a holistic vision (foodservice cluster and packaging cluster).
