AWARDS CEREMONY STUDENT SERVICE DESIGN CHALLENGE 2022

After 5 months of working on innovative service solutions, the winners of the Student Service Design Challenge 2022 will be announced at a special event. The Challenge jury, comprising renowned design experts from various fields, will reveal the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place awarded concepts. This edition of the competition focuses on designing services based on community and collaborative models, disrupting traditional ownership ones. Over 90 student teams worldwide signed up, reflecting the next generation of designers’ commitment to using their creativity and skills to create more people-centric and planet-positive services.

Jon Rodríguez, Director of Service Design at Philips, and Daniel Haltia, Senior Circular Business Designer at IKEA, will announce the winners of this year’s edition and host a brief discussion with the winning teams. They will be joined by the jury members, who will share their perspectives on the overall topics and solutions submitted.

Organised by the Service Design College and Philips, together with IBM, IKEA and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation.
