FORK, the food design international organization, believes in a World where better food systems can be envisioned and everybody can become a #foodchanger. In our view, design methods can help to increase people’s awareness, activate innovative solutions and finally engage all the stakeholders to find the best opportunities for local and global food scenarios.

So FORK decided to launch a Challenge with three of the European universities that are giving education in Food Design: Elisava (Spain), L’Ècole de Design Nantes Atlantique (France) and Eshte (Portugal).

Students from three different programs participated in the challenge proposed by FORK and curated by local teachers. The result has been 13 interesting projects that will pass to the final. All of them are proposing systemic and holistic projects that can be implemented.

The FORKXDESIGNSCHOOLS CHALLENGE final will present 13 in an elevator pitch format. The same day, three will be chosen and one will win the challenge. The jury, composed by the FORK founders, will announce the winner at the end of the session. The selected project will be mentored and proposed by the FORK organization to the World Food Design Day 22 in October 16 and also help it to become a real spin-off.
